How to verify Brave Rewards Creators on Blogger

Do you use brave browser?

Do you earn BAT on it?

Maybe you've seen some ads from brave and got some BAT as rewards.

But there is another way to get BAT on brave - tips.

You can start it at https://creators.brave.com.

For example, if you have a website like blog and people like it, they can tip you BAT on brave.

However, you have to verify your website first.

Basically it's simple - you just download verification file brave-rewards-verification.txt, and put it in .well-known folder to verify your blog.

But if you're using Blogger, how can you have an access to .well-known folder?

Because Blogger doesn't give you any way to access the folder, you have to have some trick.

Blogger have a feature to redirect URLs on your blog.

You can redirect some old post to new one.

Moreover, you can redirect any URL of your blogger blog to any of your post.

You don't have access to .well-known folder, so what you can do is to create a post for the verification and redirect /.well-known/brave-rewards-verification.txt to the post.

It means that when brave tries to verify your blog by seeing into /.well-known/brave-rewards-verification.txt, it will be sent to the post and find verification code there.

The actual step is like this:

1. Copy texts in brave verification file.
2. Create a post (or a page), paste it in contents on html view and save it.
3. Go settings and set redirection from /.well-known/brave-rewards-verification.txt to URL of the post.
